ABOUT MIRACLE MINISTRIES

On June 26, 1983, the dynamic organization named Miracle Ministries was born. The two visionary founders, Pastors Winston and Angela Cuffie, with eight others, embraced a vision for a cutting edge revolutionary entity, with a holistic thrust. The fundamental aim was to develop and produce well-rounded, well adjusted citizens of the nation, using the uncompromising Gospel of Christ. The vision has since expanded to an international perspective. With remarkable selfless service, unreserved commitment, a strong emphasis on the Holy Spirit, the miraculous, excellence, integrity and professionalism, results constantly exceed expectations - as well as physical capacity.

Because of the rapid all-round growth, the Miracle Ministries church building had to be expanded and rebuilt several times. In December 1999, the first-class 2500 seat edifice called Christ Castle was dedicated to the honour and glory of God. This edifice, which houses the main worship sanctuary, is part of the Miracle Ministries Complex, at the organization's headquarters in Chase Village, Chaguanas, Trinidad, West Indies.

Christ Castle also houses a conference room, prayer rooms, counseling rooms and fully operational television and radio production studios.

Also forming part of the Miracle Ministries complex are: The Institute of Ministry and Tertiary Education, Administration Block, Board Room, Kindergarten (Montessori) School, Bookstore, Consumer Cooperative, Courtyard, Canteen, Nursery, Multi-purpose/reception hall and Sporting facilities. On another site, a short distance away, is the Miracle Ministries Pentecostal High School, which spreads over a seven acre block.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

• We believe that the Bible, the Holy Scriptures, is the inspired Word of God, and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.

• We believe that there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

• We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for man's sins, according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where he sits at the right hand of the Majesty on High. He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

• We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the sinner; indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

• We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection, provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God.

• We believe that the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

• We believe that there will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

• We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ, of which He is the head.

• We believe that water baptism, by immersion, soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord's Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. All true believers, and only believers, should share in it.
