Dr Rishi Ramdeo is 28 years old. For almost twenty
of those years, he has been at Miracle Ministries
where he has been nurtured on solid spiritual and
intellectual nutrition.
Church guidance has always played a very critical
role in Dr Ramdeo’s life. At one point in Secondary
school, he began slipping away a bit from the Lord.
But a particular Sunday morning, Pastor Cuffie told
him to stand up in the congregation and
prophetically read his life out like a book, also
telling him that God had significant future plans
for him, so get back on course and stay on course.
He immediately straightened up.
After successfully completing Secondary school, the
ambitious and focused Rishi, was accepted at the
University of the West Indies, Dental Faculty, to
pursue his studies in that discipline.
In 2004, he graduated with honours. He was
immediately employed by the Eric Williams Medical
Sciences Hospital and the St Georges East Health
Faculty. While employed, Dr Ramdeo successfully
completed post-graduate studies in Oral Implantology
at the University of the West Indies, with
additional studies at Jagan’s Dental Hospital in
Guyana.
This evidently took his profession to another level.
But known for his insatiable thirst for excelling,
Dr Ramdeo flew to the Nova South Eastern University
in Florida where he again completed, with
distinction, a post-graduate programme in Nitrous
oxide Sedation, commonly known as the “laughing gas
sedation procedure”. On a Fellowship, Dr Ramdeo
later journeyed to Orlando, where he was inducted
into the prestigious International Congress of Oral
Implantologists.
Dr
Ramdeo now runs two of his own ultra-modern Dental
Clinics – the youngest dentist in Trinidad and
Tobago to do so.
At church, Dr Rishi as he is fondly called, is
ever-present. Despite his very hectic profession, he
is in every service. He is very gifted in singing
and music and is extremely active in this ministry,
along with administrative and supervisory
responsibilities in the elaborate Discipleship
Ministry, at this church.
